Seven years ago I began to "dabble" with paint. After painting finger and toe nails for years, it seemed to be a logical transition to the canvas. I needed art for my Pink Avenue salon to make it beautiful for my clients. So I have been painting ever since.
Impressionism is my inspiration, and I particularly love the challenge to capture the human face and figure in portrait. Having discovered the joy of art much later in life is a message to me from the universe that age is a fluid concept and learning, discovery, play and taking risks to try is forever young.
